Wright State commit follows Brownell to Clemson
Brad Brownell is bringing in his first recruit as the head coach at Clemson.
Point guard Cory Stanton of Springfield, TN will reportedly be granted a release from his commitment to Wright State and will come to Clemson to play for Brownell.
Stanton is a quick, athletic guard who can beat defenders off the dribble and score in the lane or hit the pull-up jumper. He is also a good free throw shooter and a respectable three-point threat.
Brownell also praises Stanton's ability to distribute the basketball and be a leader on the court.
Stanton will give the Tigers depth at the point guard position behind Senior Demontez Stitt and Junior Andre Young.
Scout.com rates Stanton as a two-star prospect.
