Clemson safety DeAndre McDaniel, defensive tackle Jarvis Jenkins, and offensive lineman Chris Hairston were named to the preseason All-ACC first team, which was selected by the media at the ACC Football Kickoff and announced Wednesday.
McDaniel received the most votes of any player in the conference, earning 48 votes out of the 52 ballots cast. He was a first-team All-ACC performer last season, leading Clemson in interceptions and tackles.
Jenkins was an honorable mention All-ACC pick last year after tallying 69 tackles and 11 tackles for loss. He will anchor one of the nation's best defensive lines this year.
Hairston was named to the All-ACC second team last year and is the top player on an experienced Clemson offensive line.
